Sahar Mirzaei

Sahar is a self-taught artist with an educational background in urban design and planning. She is originally from Iran and lives in California. In her art, she explores freedom in shapes and forms. Her works rely heavily on improvisational geometry and continuums of seemingly random elements that are usually united by an underlying structure. She believes that the key in her drawings is not to erase mistakes, but embrace them and turn them into an opportunity. This is how she is inspired by exploring numerous detailed lines, drawn layer by layer until they form shapes.
